With the Exercise.com Staff Management feature, this guide shows you how to manage staff permissions in the Corporate Dashboard.
1. Account Section
Click the arrow menu next to the Account tab to reveal additional tabs.
2. Trainers
Navigate to the ‘Trainers’ section to manage staff members.
3. Select a Staff Member
Find and select the staff member you wish to edit.
4. Permissions
Select the “Permissions” tab to review access rights and roles.
5. Dashboards Permission
Within Dashboard Permissions, you can configure the level of access a staff member has to dashboard data:
View All – This option provides the staff member with full access to all dashboard data across every location.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only view dashboard data from the specific locations or hierarchy nodes assigned to them.
None – This option removes access to the dashboard completely. If selected, the staff member will be redirected to a 401 Unauthorized page when attempting to access the dashboard.
6. Reports Permission
Within Reports Permissions, you can configure the level of access a staff member has to reports:
View All – This option provides the staff member with full access to all reports across every location.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only view reports from the specific locations or hierarchy nodes assigned to them.
None – This option removes access to reports completely. If selected, the staff member will be redirected to a 401 Unauthorized page when attempting to access reports.
7. Sites Permission
Within Sites Permissions, you can configure how much access a staff member has to site management:
View All – This option provides the staff member with full access to manage all sites, platform nodes, and hierarchy across every location.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only manage sites within their assigned locations or hierarchy nodes.
None – This option removes access to site management entirely. If selected, all site management controls in the UI will be hidden from the staff member.
8. Data Load – Manage Permission
Within Data Load – Manage Permission, you can configure the level of access a staff member has for managing data loads:
View All – This option provides the staff member with full access to manage and send data loads across all locations.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only manage data loads from their assigned locations or hierarchy nodes.
None – This option removes access to data loads entirely. If selected, the staff member will be redirected to a 401 Unauthorized page when attempting to access data loads.
9. Data Load – Send Permission
Within Data Load – Send Permission, you can configure the level of access a staff member has for sending data loads:
Send to All – This option provides the staff member with the ability to send data loads to any location across the system without restrictions.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only send data loads to their assigned locations or hierarchy nodes.
None – This option removes access to sending data loads entirely. If selected, all send buttons and options will be hidden from the staff member’s view.
10. Staff Management Permission
Within Staff Management Permission, you can configure the level of access a staff member has for managing other staff:
View All – This option provides the staff member with full access to manage all staff across all locations, including the ability to assign any permission level.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only manage staff within their assigned locations or hierarchy nodes.
None – This option removes access to staff management entirely. If selected, the staff member will be redirected to a 401 Unauthorized page when attempting to access staff management.
11. Corporate Settings Permission
Within Corporate Settings Permission, you can configure the level of access a staff member has for managing corporate settings:
View + Edit – This option allows the staff member to access and modify all Site Configuration areas, including platform settings, staff roles, navigation menu settings, habits, tags, lifecycle, and reports configuration.
Hidden – This option removes access to all Site Configuration areas. If selected, the menu items and routes will be completely hidden from the staff member’s view.
12. Login To Sites Permission
Within Login to Sites Permission, you can configure the level of access a staff member has for logging into platform sites:
View All – This option allows the staff member to log in or impersonate any child platform site.
Limit by Location – This option restricts access so the staff member can only log in to sites within their assigned locations or hierarchy nodes.
None – This option removes access to logging into sites entirely. If selected, all login buttons and options will be hidden from the staff member’s view.
13. Save Staff Member
Once you’ve selected the Permissions for your staff member, click “Save Staff Member” button to save your changes.
