How to filter messages using Staff Member

With Exercise.com’s staff management tools, you can filter messages by staff member to streamline communication and stay organized. This guide will show you how.

1. Account

Access your account settings by clicking the “Account” option to begin customizing your platform preferences.

Click 'Account' in Exercise.com platform.

2. Customize Platform

Open the customization menu by clicking “Customize Platform” to adjust your platform features.

3. View All Staff Member Messages

Enable the “View All Staff Member Messages” setting. This unlocks the Staff Member filter in the Messages tab.

4. Save

Scroll down and click the Save button to apply changes made.

Click 'Save' to apply changes.

5. Messages

Navigate to the “Messages” section by clicking “Messages”.

6. Staff Member

Click the “Staff Member” filter to view all available staff members in the dropdown list.

7. Select Staff Member(s)

Select one or multiple staff members from the dropdown list.

8. Select Account then Trainers

Go to the Account tab, then select the Trainers tab to update staff member permissions. This is necessary when verifying the staff member filter using a staff account.

Navigate to 'Account' then 'Trainers'.

9. Select Specific Sub-Trainer

Choose the specific sub-trainer you want to update.

Select a specific sub-trainer profile.

10. Select Permissions

Go to the Permissions tab.

Go to 'Permissions' tab for sub-trainer.

11. Select “Can manage all” and Save Staff Member

In the “Messages” section, open the dropdown menu and select “Can manage all.” Then click “Save Staff Member.” Once the sub-trainer logs in, they can access the staff member filter and view all staff members.

12. Select “Can manage their location” and Save Staff Member

In the “Messages” section, open the dropdown menu and select “Can manage their location.” Then click “Save Staff Member.” When the sub-trainer logs in, they will see the staff member filter, but only staff members assigned to the same location will be displayed.
